We visited 3 parks today. We were blessed with a wonderful surprise at our first park...we ran into the Welsh clan! Dear friends of ours from the QC! We found it very ironic that we ended up in Geneseo at the same time, at the same park! What are the odds.
Our next stop was Richmond Hill. There is a "barn" theater, ball diamonds, frisbee golf and a few OLD playground items. They brought back memories for Matt & I.
There were thousands of dandelions! The kids loved that. Here are some pictures of the kids picking & blowing the "wishing flowers" (as Katie used to call them).
I apologize for the non-organization of the blog pictures. I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if blogger is not working tonight, either way I can't seem to move them without issues...
The best part of this park is the hill slide. Just watch the video!

Those slides were creepy when you took the kids last year! I can't believe you went back! At least there were no soaked pants this time.
I don't remember thinking that they were creepy. I thought they were pretty cool and the kids loved them - when we started the slide challenge, I knew that this park would need to be one of the parks we visited!
Who, you racked up a few slides and got to go old school! Those are very nostalgic for me for some reason and that fort in the background of one of those pics... loved those as a kid (like the ones down from 1st UP!) Hey, they have a slide that goes down a hill... that's where I've seen one of those before! Loved the little video... what fun!
That Hill Slide is awesome! It looks like the kids want to do it until about halfway down... then the little shoes start hitting the brakes! Where is that park exactly?
It actually had a dip halfway down the slide so they started to pick up speed there. I did the slide too and it was pretty fast! You can see the park (Richmond Hill) from the interstate just before the Geneseo exit.
