Milk
This morning Maddie was asking me for milk. Her "M" isn't quite an "MMMM" sound though. I tried to get her to say the "m" by having her say "mmmmmm...ilk". I did that a few times and she kept say "mmmm...filk". So, I tried one last time. "Maddie can you say mmmmilk". She looked at me and "Yeah Mommy, good job!"

That really takes me back.
Many years ago when our first born was just learning to speak one of his favorite foods was waffles, but when he would attempt to say "Waffle" it came out "Awful",.
Nearly 40 years latter we still enjoy an occasional Awful.

Many years ago, when the first of our boys was just learning to speak, one of his favorite foods was waffles.
When he attempted to ask for one instead of Waffle the sound that came out was Awful.
Now, many years latter, we still enjoy an occasional Awful.
