Happy Thanksgiving!! Thanksgiving was low-key for us (again) this year. Our Indiana family wasn't able to make it home and we'd been under the weather, so we didn't want to spread germs to my parents or Iowa family.
We decided on a wonderful dinner of Minute Steaks, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Bread, Sparkling Juice and Dessert (for later).
After dinner, we watched a few Charlie Brown Thanksgiving specials and then started decorating for Christmas.

The next day, we gave the kids their 2022 Christmas Ornament. A great tradition that we all look forward to, every year.
Will - First Job (Culver's)
Kaitee - Loves, Loves, Loves Doctor Who! I love that Hallmark had the Tardis this year!
Maddie - she has expressed a love, desire to be in the mountains...but there has to be trees! Found this one and immediately knew it was for her. I wrote Psalm 121:1-2 on the back of it. "I lift my eyes to the hills, from where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of Heaven and Earth". It is a wonderful reminder to us as we journey through this life.
Here is the finished product - after lights and ornaments were added. So beautiful and peaceful! We love sitting in the dark and enjoying the glow of the tree!
With the tree up, we could take our annual family Christmas picture.
