We usually put up our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving, but with company in town, we decided to wait until this weekend.
After taking the tree from its box, Katie informed us "oh, it is fake". We chuckled and informed her that she was right. We enjoyed watching the kids putting their ornaments on the tree. Their wonderment was fun to witness. Now all that we need are the presents under the tree!All 4 kids laying under the tree - admiring the lights.
